Cheap Movie Posters – Spruce Up Your Walls While Saving Money
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to spruce up your walls. Sure, fancy paintings provide great focal points, but do you really have hundreds of dollars to spare? If you do, great, if not, why not try something else to put art on your walls? Why not give movie posters a shot? Poster Holder
Some people limit movie-poster decor to their home theater. Don’t make this mistake. Think of it as a way to add personality to your walls. If you’re a big ’80s fan, why not put up a poster of “Pretty in Pink”? That movie is the ultimate ’80s movie. Or you could hang a poster of “The Neverending Story” if you’re a child at heart. The options are endless, and inexpensive, since you can find millions of cheap movie posters online.
But don’t limit yourself to the movies you’ve watched. You might find great art among the films that you haven’t seen. Remember to choose colors that pop against your walls. For instance, if you have light walls, choose posters that have darker colors.
You could even break up your movie posters with more “sophisticated” decor items. But these don’t have to be expensive, either. You could go to your local discount store to get items to flank your movie poster. Candle holders are some of my favorite items to use, and you can get them for a couple of bucks. You can also add inexpensive flowers or other plants to add texture to your decor.
Don’t forget to spruce up the space with decorative accent pieces that play off the colors in the poster. If the poster contains shades of reds or greens, disperse that hue throughout the room.
The great thing about this type of decorating is that you don’t need to drill anything into your walls. Just a simple nail will do, and you won’t break the bank, either. Framing posters won’t cost you too much, either.
Cheap movies posters are everywhere. Just look around. You never know what you’ll find.
